On Friday, November 10, active and not indifferent women of Kyiv region together with MP from OPPOSITION BLOC, initiator of the National platform "Women for Peace" Natalia Korolevska, participants of the National platform "Women for Peace" and members of veteran organizations applied to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine with the demand to abolish part of the pension reform adopted by the coalition.
The Chairperson of the Council of Veterans of the city of Ukrainka, the Kyiv region, Tetiana Shcherbakova noted, that all pensioners were eagerly awaiting a deserved increase in pensions, and instead every third received a letter in which they "politely" explained why their pension remains at the same level as before the adoption of the so-called "pension reform".
"People were promised that they would receive their pensions earned for decades. But in fact – not all have felt a significant increase. That is why we are united in order to defend our rights by lawful methods and on legal grounds. Only together, we can get the authorities to abolish the unfair norms of the pension reform, ensure a decent level of the minimum pension, and achieve peace and harmony in the country. This is necessary for all Ukrainians, this is necessary for our whole country," Tetiana Shcherbakova said.
