This was stated by the MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Yuriy Pavlenko, summing up the results of the so-called "reforms" that the authorities held in 2017.
"At the heart of all reforms of this power was the desire to curtail any state aid to the economy and citizens. The authorities practically refused to invest in economic development. At the same time, she shifted the whole burden of the crisis to people. All the so-called "reforms" were reduced only to raising tariffs, reducing government funding for education, medicine and the social security system. All the constitutional social rights of Ukrainian citizens have been violated," Yuriy Pavlenko stressed.
He also noted that the Ukrainian authorities themselves, without embarrassment, increased the cost of their maintenance. In an extremely poor country, only officials and security officials richer. Without shame and shame of conscience, the power-holders raised their salaries and wrote out multi-million dollar bonuses. As a result, the incomes of some civil servants turned out to be hundreds and thousands of times higher than the incomes of an ordinary Ukrainian family. At the same time, they continued to take bribes from entrepreneurs and citizens with virtually complete connivance from law enforcement. Unclean officials were caught, and then released.
"Waiting for this policy change from the government is pointless. In 2018, they again adopted a budget, which implies an increase in spending on the maintenance of officials and law enforcement agencies. They want to build a police state and enjoy life at the expense of businessmen and ordinary Ukrainian citizens.
In order to change the situation, to ensure the development of the economy and improve the standards of people's lives, one must change power. That is why in 2018, the OPPOSITION BLOC will continue to fight for holding early parliamentary elections and forming a new government responsible to people," the opposition politician said.
