The OPPOSITION BLOC faction advocates a ban on the sale of land. This was stated by the leader of the OPPOSITION BLOC Yuriy Boyko in the corridors of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, December 5.
“We consider that society is not ready to sell land and does not understand how this will happen. In conditions of depreciation of the national currency, this is absolutely an unacceptable step. We will support our own draft law banning the sale of land,” Yuriy Boyko emphasized.
As for the State Budget – 2018, the OPPOSITION BLOC faction, according to Yuriy Boyko, is categorically against its adoption in the government version.
“Unfortunately, our amendments are not taken into account. They concerned specifically the increase in social payments. We have clearly shown the additional budget resources that can be used for this. Instead, the government again plans to increase the payments to the power bloc and administrative bodies. That is, the budget is written for officials, not for people. We will not vote for it,” the Co-Chairman of the OPPOSITION BLOC noted.
Yuriy Boyko also commented on the president’s initiatives to increase the minimum wage. According to the politician, thus the head of state started the election campaign.
“I think this is a populist step by the president. Therefore, he started an election campaign. Real resources are necessary to support the real sector of the economy. They provide an opportunity to increase salaries. Such statements, as well as the initiative of the referendum on the NATO issue, are evidence that the election campaign is starting,” Yuriy Boyko stressed.
