At the current plenary week, the Verkhovna Rada should consider draft laws on supporting children and IDPs. This was stated by Co-chairman of the OPPOSITION BLOC faction Yuriy Boyko in the corridors of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, May 15.
According to him, the parliament should consider social draft laws, not political declarations, which have no practical meaning.
“Unfortunately, the agenda of the current plenary week is completely empty again. However, we will insist on consideration of three draft laws on supporting children, as well as a draft law on supporting IDPs. Its adoption will allow IDPs who have lost their homes to get the right to stand on the apartment queue,” the MP noted.
Yuriy Boyko also said that next week the OPPOSITION BLOC would bring to parliament two important draft laws – on restoring benefits to Chernobyl victims, as well as increasing the pension to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
