This was stated by the leader of the OPPOSITION BLOC Yuriy Boiko, speaking at a meeting of the conciliation Council on Monday, March 20.
“Parliament is passively watching events in the country. It leads to rampant radicalism. A few days ago protesters blocked the international highway in Rivne. They demanded the legalization of amber mining. And the Parliament has long been based on seven relevant bills,” the politician said.
According to him, to put the point in this matter, the government should take the initiative and introduce the draft law, which would comprehensively solve the problem of legalization of amber mining.
“The government needs to go the initiative. Unfortunately, it is still there, so we see the flash of radicalism, shooting, blocked the route. What can we expect next, if the government will continue to do nothing? We insist the government to prepare “amber” draft law and submit it to the Parliament,” Yuriy Boiko stressed.
