This was told by the Co-Chairman of the OPPOSITION BLOC faction Yuriy Boyko, commenting on the results of his visit in Odesa Oblast. On June 13, the opposition politician visited Bolgrad, where he visited an agricultural farm and held a meeting with the Bolgradsky and neighboring districts.
“People asked absolutely existential questions about the so-called pension and medical reforms, questions on medicines, pensions, tariffs, utility payments.
Both pensioners and people who gain their living by work are neglected today. People are screaming. For example, a woman-diabetic says that she has no funds to buy medicine. She needs to be made insulin injections twice a day, otherwise she can fall into a coma. And what do the current authorities answer to this? There is not enough money for free delivery of drugs to people who need them. Of course, these issues should be addressed,” Yuriy Boyko emphasized.
The OPPOSITION BLOC voted neither for pension nor for medical reforms. Opposition MPs demand resignation of the acting Minister of Health U. Suprun and her deputy A. Linchevsky, as well as immediate ordering in the industry.
In the Constitutional Court, the faction defends people’s right to free medicine, requires a fair recalculation of pensions to military pensioners, protects the rights of IDPs, advocates the reduction of current tariffs, at least twice.
“People support our political force. They see hope in us, because they do not believe in the current authorities. After coming to power, we will abolish the unfair and disastrous medical and pension “reforms”, restore the privileges taken away by the current authorities, as well as provide a decent level of social protection for every citizen of Ukraine. The most important thing is to establish peace in Ukraine to raise the economy and give people the opportunity to live humanely in a prosperous and developing country,” Yuriy Boyko summed up.
