Over the past few years, Ukraine has lost thousands of work places. This was stated by MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Vadim Novinsky in the author’s program of Dmitriy Gordon on the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“Through the efforts of the current authorities, Ukraine has turned into a cemetery of factories for four years. We have lost and lose thousands of work places. To restore this all, first, we need peace, reconciliation in society, and secondly, the restoration of relations with Russia. We were part of the economic machine of the USSR, and our enterprises were directed to supply products to Russia and other CIS countries. Now this is not done, but for rapid economic growth, it is necessary to do so. And again: once in the Soviet Union, if you remember, there was such an object as political economy ... What did they teach us there? The basis is economic relations, and political – just a superstructure. The stronger the basis, the more confident the superstructure. Therefore, we must first think about the economy, and not about certain political preferences,” the politician noted.
According to him, the establishment of peace will return the territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions to Ukraine.
“I would like peace to be achieved in the new year, the internecine fratricidal conflict in the southeast of Ukraine to be stopped and people to breath freely. But it is necessary to show political will, and first of all – President Poroshenko, who promised to end the war for two weeks. Since then, it has been three and a half years, but it is not completed, there is a huge number of victims, destruction and refugees. I believe that Poroshenko and his entire team must do important things and fulfill their promises. First of all – to establish peace, and the result of this will be the return of the territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions to Ukraine,” the opposition leader said.
