Rights of the residents of the district in the Yakymivka District Council are upheld by 10 deputies from the OPPOSITION BLOC. By the decision of the political council they are assigned to the territories of the district, not only for those from which they ran. Two deputies of the OPPOSITION BLOC faction are deputy heads of the permanent profile commissions and another one heads the commission.
Deputies of the faction during the year 2017 brought to the sessions of the district council the draft decisions and deputy appeals that concerned their work on the ground.
Thanks to the help of the deputies of the district council from the OPPOSITION BLOC in the kindergarten "Rosinka", the dilapidated windows were replaced with new metal-plastic ones. With their support, repairs were carried out in the toilet of the School No. 2, and furniture was purchased for the primary classes of School No. 1. And for the gynecological department of the Yakymivka Central District Hospital, a fiscal monitor and a mammogram were purchased.
It should be noted that due to the initiative of the deputies of the OPPOSITION BLOC faction in the district council for the first time, a deputy fund was put in place to provide material assistance to residents of the region who found themselves in a difficult financial situation. Thus, in 2017, each deputy received at his disposal 100 thousand hryvnia and sent them to help those in need.
In 2017, Deputy of the Zaporizhia Regional Council from the OPPOSITION BLOC Lyudmila Lyubim actively supported citizens of Yakymivka. Thanks to her actions, new playgrounds appeared in the villages of the district, schoolchildren received gifts for the holidays, and residents of the district could count on the full support of the deputy at every reception of citizens.
