Co-Chairman of the faction of the OPPOSITION BLOC in the parliament, Oleksandr Vilkul, demanded that law enforcement agencies restore order on the streets and ensure the safety of people.
"The safety of people and the punishment of criminals must be provided by the Law, and not by the attention of television cameras. Although now even the media cannot provide this. On the murder of Sheremet, Buzina, about the tragedy of May 2, 2014 in Odessa and other crimes, too many publications were made...", wrote the oppositionist on his Facebook page.
He also expressed his condolences to the relatives of the murdered human rights defender Iryna Nozdrovska and noted that, like all Ukrainians, he wants the investigation to be conducted fairly, and indeed the perpetrators were punished.
"But, I emphasize, we need a system of law enforcement protection, not just demonstrative PR courts and public relations investigations," Oleksandr Vilkul added.
