The delegation of the deputies of the Kyiv Regional Council from the OPPOSITION BLOC visited the jubilee celebrations on 50th anniversary of the founding of the city of Ukrainka. It consisted of the leader of the Regional Organization Oleksandr Kachnyi, the Chairman of the Inter-factional Group "Women of Kyiv region" Svitlana Bereza and the Head of the Permanent Commission on Family, Youth Policy, Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Roman Bukovski.
"It is always pleasant to come to this beautiful city, where kind and industrious people live, to a city with an experienced and successful mayor and his team, with a friendly community. There are not so many people in the region who can take responsibility for the residents of the city today, for their improvement, and make productive changes. And the result is obvious: thanks to the joint efforts of the community and the city's leadership, young and modern Ukrainka is one of the most promising cities in the Kyiv region," Oleksandr Kachnyi noted.
The Deputy of the Regional Council Svitlana Bereza also noted the merits of the Ukrainians: and "pioneers" - builders, installers, workers of the Thermal Power Station, all those who stood at the origins of the construction of the city, and Ukrainians who are now continuing the glorious traditions of their predecessors. Svitlana Bereza thanked for the warm welcome, for the sincerity and warmth, and appealed to everyone with the wishes of peace and happiness.
"Successfully strengthening your position, in peace and harmony, multiply these achievements for the prosperity of Ukrainka, which is our incredibly beautiful, modern and comfortable city!" Svitlana Bereza said.
In addition, for the significant contribution to the development of local self-government and his native city, the deputy presented letters and gratitude to the Kyiv Regional Council to the Chair of the Territorial Organization of the party in Ukrainka, to the Deputy of the Ukrainka City Council Iryna Gidion and the Chair of the City Veteran Organization Tetiana Shcherbakova.
The continuation of the holiday was a number of various events, in particular, a solemn procession through the city and a concert program.
