This was stated by the Co-Chairman of the OPPOSITION BLOC, Prime Minister of the Opposition Government Borys Kolesnikov alive on the TV channel “Ukraine”.
“Ukraine should keep its course on independence from external forces. The stronger our country, the more independent it will be. I will not tire of repeating Margaret Thatcher’s words that real freedom comes when economic freedom comes. If there is no economy – people will leave for the West to work. However, every three migrant workers leave one pensioner without pension, and every two – without the salary of a teacher or a doctor. This week, the authorities have talked about increasing the minimum wage. But it can easily not just be increased, but doubled if you take the business out of the shadows. If there is at least one salary in the envelope, there will be no economy. If an employee receives a salary in an envelope – it is necessary to give him a small penalty, and the employer, like in the US, - 80 years in prison. Show five such processes on TV, and we will have a surplus of envelopes in our country,” Borys Kolesnikov stated.
Commenting on the draft law prepared by the Cabinet, which provides for increased punishment for bribing voters and falsifying elections, the opposition politician noted that this was essentially an imitation of stormy activity. “Who calls most loudly “Stop the thief?” Any democratic western institution will tell you that only the authorities can falsify elections. There is still no case in world history where the opposition would do it. If the government simply passed the law that promised, on a proportional basis, with open lists, - nobody would bring the voters buckwheat, and even a glass of peas. I have never been engaged in bribery of voters and I will not do it. It is useless. This is a deceit of public opinion. Currently, the authorities are engaged in bribery, because the ruling coalition now has a meager percentage of the population’s trust. They want to leave the majoritarian system, buy up all the counties and, with a confidence rating of less than 10%, rule the country. But this will not happen, we will make every effort to do this,” the Co-Chairman of the OPPOSITION BLOC said.
