A developing country cannot have a parliamentary-presidential form of government. It must be either parliamentary or presidential. This opinion was expressed by the Co-Chairman of the OPPOSITION BLOC, Prime Minister of the Opposition Government Boris Kolesnikov on the air of the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“A year before the presidential election, everyone is discussing who will be the head of state. But what is the difference? After all, if the country’s governance system does not change, then Ukraine will have nothing good,” Boris Kolesnikov said.
According to the politician, the developing country cannot be parliamentary-presidential. It can be either parliamentary or presidential. “And we get lard in chocolate. These are incompatible things,” the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government added.
According to Boris Kolesnikov, it is necessary to approach the issue of changing the Constitution in a balanced way.
“If after the Maidan the Constitution was not changed, but simply returned to the 2004 version, which created a dual power in the country, it means that the goal of Maidan’s leaders was not reforms, but employment,” the Co-Chairman of the OPPOSITION BLOC underscored.
